was crowley doing anything with those books he was carrying around the bookshop? like do you think he was actually attempting to work by organizing the books? did aziraphale give him a honey-do list before he left with a bunch of chores that needed doing, like re-shelving some items? was it just what crowley’s seen other people do in bookshops so he figured “might as well” without realizing that those people had reasons to carry around stacks of books? was he trying to blend in and play the part? was he reorganizing the books in some stupid order just to mess with aziraphale? was he helping gabriel arrange the books alphabetically according to the first word of each book? or was he actively undoing everything gabriel had done? and if so, was it to piss off gabriel, or to keep him busy? was he carrying them around just so he had something fun to dramatically toss aside in case something more interesting came along? many possibilities…open to hearing more…
Crowleys reaction to the dance proposal is so interesting. He sounds and looks confused. He says “We don’t dance”.
He says it as a statement. It’s not that he doesn’t want to dance, it’s not that demons don’t dance, or that angels don’t dance. It’s just that dancing together isn’t something that isn’t a well established ritual in their relationship yet.
